Talk To Me - 20.10.20

NOTE: Not all frames are drawn by me, online ones signed "Griff". All editing however is by me.
An entry for three cats in a partner contest. My full entry (story) is linked below. I teamed up with rainbowspongefactory and honeybunchsofoats. Together we developed our characters, picked a song, planned it out and created parts equally. Working with others on an animation was a new experience for me, but I really enjoyed it and made a new friend along the way! My sections of the story shoe Strawberrypaw struggling with her mental health, and then realising that she doesn't need to face it alone. Her mentor who struggled with similar issues offers here an ear, and she takes to him as a fatherly figure.

Comfort Crowd - 13.2.20

A very small personal project completed for Valentine's Day. Cinnamonspeck (cream) and Phesantflight (red) are two of my characters, and I wanted to develop their relationship further in art. It shows the moment they fell in love, their Soulmate Ceremony (that world's equivalent of marriage) and domestic bliss. I feel this song is their theme song, however only wanted to do the most powerful section as it was a small project. I'm really proud of this one.

I'm in love with you - 23.2.20

Originally an entry for a character, I didn't win, so then edited it to contain a character I own. It was a way to develop these two character's relationship and practice a new style: line-less art. It's not something I visit often and sometimes struggle with, but was fun none the less. It was also good to practice backgrounds and develop the world's map. The story follows the difficulties in their clashing personalities, but they won't let that stand between them.

Ghosts PMV - 15.9.19

A personal project completed over the summer holidays of 2019 to try my hand at a longer, complete picture music video. It is based on the BBC Sherlock series with the characters in another universe as cats and inspired by the "GHOSTS" animation meme, linked below. I loved the video I came across, and so wanted to do my own take on it. At this time, I hadn't found a decent editing program, so it's rather flat.

Mind is a Prison - 28.12.19

An entry to a character contest I did not win (linked below). Therefore the character does not belong to me. I made this because the song had just come out and i thought it made for an interesting character personality, however the contest was (in my opinion) unfairly judged....
I meant to re colour it as a character I now own, however I had stupidly merged the layers, a mistake I haven't made since.

Why Love Me? meme - 21.11.19

A personal project inspired by the "why love me?" Meme (linked below). This was done on a day when I wasn't feeling great and needed a way to vent. It features two very personal characters, my persona and another main character from an ongoing world in cat form (as they're what I'm most confident drawing). It's heavily representational and personal.

Arms Tonite - 16.12.18

One of my first projects, this was inspired by the song. I had created characters and a world to match the lyrics, with a cat mistakingly being brought into the afterlife and attempting to escape. Desperate to be together, the one left alive purposefully dies (matching the lyrics) to join her. They're then send back to earth when an angle realizes it was all a demons doing. It was a small concept and one I moved on from quickly.
